| this is my theme song on bad days. :D the "fuck everything!" attitude does it for me.. but I think Manson is being ironic since he contradicts and contradicts.. (etc etc..) himself and so on.. | |

| The lyrics of this song are absolutely amazing, though I don't care for the song much. Too bad, it's beautifully done. Part of the idea I think, though, isn't that he's upset about being referred to as an Antichrist (he embraced the title in many ways, although it was not self-inflicted initially), but rather, presenting his views for the view of others. One interesting thing that I see is that, in spite of the negative nature of the song, it really does have a more or less wholesome message. Yippie. | |

| I think that he's saying that with everyone "anti" this and "anti" that, its only appropriate that society would deem him the anti-christ. Manson's taken this and made himself the anti-christ superstar. Maybe part of his theme, "America created me and i'm your shit." You wanted anti and now you've got it. | |

| No! I wasn't bashing him :) I like his music very much!! When I said "Silly Isn't it?", I was talking about the notion of being anti-everything. I feel this song shows how the notion is silly, you can't be anti-everything, or you'll also be anti-you. "anti song and anti me I don't deserve a chance to be" This is an excellent song! BTW, anyone know where I can find info on the new album o_O ? :) | |
