| This song can have many different meanings, any song can. OKAY... Dead is what he is- *Mansons view of god* He does what he please- *because he is god he can do harsh things, or great things* **NOW RIGHT HERE THE LYRICS COULD CHANGE INTO 2 DIFFERENT SENTENCES** ...EITHER... 1. The things that he has You're never gonna see - *you will never see these things that you have been taught, because in Manson opinion, there is no god or heaven* ...OR... 2. You're never gonna see what you're never gonna be now- *you won't ever see yourself as holy, a non-sinner ,or an angel* Sketch a little keyhole, for the looking glass people- *AKA the christians or others who are religious, they will always look at us, and behind their judging, they will always wish to have freedom that we do, (non-believers), so being the kind god he is, he gives them temptation to sin, - He sketches a keyhole so they can see our life* Mommys gotta scarecrow, gotta let the corn grow- *in order for you to have corn, you obviously gotta have a scarecrow, AKA in order for you to do anything in life, other helpful things, have to take place first* man can't always reap what he sows- *but sometimes when you do things as you were taught, you can't take them away, AKA you can't take back your religion when you die, or also you can't take back the misktakes you made by believing in something, that was never true to begin with* He is a maker, *ONLY WHAT RELIGIOUS PEOPLE WANT TO BELIEVE* He is a taker, *THE REALITY* He is a savior, *ONLY WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE* He is a rapper, *THE REALITY* -Taz- ***Also this album tells a story, and this song very-well might be about a rockstar... but I like to look at songs from very different angles*** | |

| demons dancing in the dark In darkness the need for our eyes is removed and we find perception through other means. Demons live through us and by us. We cannot fathom their perception and therefore cannot manipulate said demons. We can only take from them by living our lives as a mockery to they're lack of life. So because of their jealousy toward humans they wish to distroy whatever they are allowed, be it new life (wombs) or crops, etc... We try to defend ourselves against what we believe is harmful, but in the end humanity must be balanced out. Therefore suffering allows us to be balanced in a way that benefits us. We need them but we don't want to see them or our need for them. | |

| I think this song is about what the antichrist is doing. "He is the angel with the scabbed wings, hard drug face, wanna powder his nose" is the self-destruction of the antichrist. "He will deflour the freshest crop, dry up all the wombs" is the destruction of the womb. "Dead is what he is, He does what he pleases, The things that he has You'll never gonna see, What you're never gonna be" this is sort of about the fame of the antichrist. He's a superstar. | |
