| He entered the world, meaning to do well, he was different, he was free. He told the people what they wanted to hear, but it grew wrong. He knew he was fading, but continued to push until they took it all away, he was angry and was prepared to kill himself to make everybody pay, angel does not mean godly figure, it means what he had good to share, but it grew rational and standard | |

| This song helped me through a really tough time in my life.. I related it to everything that was wrong. I was actually (seriously.. it makes me feel rather stupid) going to kill myself over a guy, and I was going to kill myself to make him pay. All hail Manson. | |

| i think that apple of discord means that manson cheated on whoever "her" is with someone else. the "bloodstained egg" bit makes me think that she was very fragile (in her heart/mind), and that him cheating on her broke her heart . "we can never repair" might mean that she might not ever love anyone else because of the betrayal. sorry about thiss rambling, but im in a very philosophical mood! | |

| I dunno if this has been said before because I couldn't be bothered to read the other responses.... but I think that this song is about one of two things: an adverse mentality that has infected someone ("the angel") but been gotten rid of with drugs so it resigned to withering away OR a person with a mental condition who has lost someone close to them ("the angel") and kills him/herself as a result. | |
