Tabbed by Twiggy5

NOTE: I know for sure that this song is tuned down cause it's a real fucking heavy
ass song but this tab is for a standard tuned 7 string. But if you wanna learn it on
a six string, tune it to Wes Borlands tuning (C#,F#,E,B,G#,C#) and play 2 frets down.
So if it says 244 on the low B play open C#5 okay okay......

That's it. Love this song, it's just so heavy and I love what Manson did with this song
on the Gods, Guns And Government Tour. It's was awseome. Well if you have any
comments, corrections, suggestions ToXic345x@yahoo.ca

Bloody Mess All

Being Australian, I'm not that knowledged in the JFK incedence as most Americans at the time would have been but I think that the whole incident reflects what this song is about. JFK was seen to do good and to become a great leader but the evil in the world overcame it and got him killed. It shows how our world has been corrupted by the evil in it. Also when it says 'this is your creation, the atom of Eden was a bomb' referrs to how God created humans to be like all other animals but when Adam and Eve chose to eat that apple, it is saying it's our creation or our fault that now we are destined to strive for more and more power till we basically all kill each other and how humans are basically a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. We evolved from the monkeys God made us, turned into the humans Adam and Eve created and it will all end with us creating a weapon to kill us all like the gun.

-to akasha -bout the whole jack thing i think JFK was right with what they posted, but also i kind of looked at is as jack from the nursery rhyme jack and jill mixed with JFK. falling down the hill and breaking his head and then the people using him...as a martyr to become their chalice? and drink wine from his head?a scapegoat? the eucharist is a sacrfice to god....drinking christs blood through the eucharist-in a chalice of course- abuse of the leader, like christ, like kennedy? kennedy whose name was john and nicknamed JACK? thats pretty goddamn amazing. i love that line.

Jack is Manson's grandfather. In Antichrist superstar he was the man that drove Manson to become the antchrist. Not sure of his role in holywood. There are things in manson's music that only he will ever understand.

Question for whomever: Who precisely is Jack supposed to be? I'd gathered that this Jack is a reference to the Jack from the AntiChrist Superstar storyline, who (correct me if I'm wrong) was the main character of the album. Also, is the Holy Wood, as a concept, supposed to represent the Christian community? All as trees, unable to change their views (immobile), and all trapped in a world of conformity. Also, of course, an allusion to the cross (And I'm nailed to the Holy Wood), but could it work as both? The use of "Holy Wood" in the song "Valentine's Day" leads me to believe this.
