Artist: Marilyn Manson
Song: Cryptorchid
Album: AntiCrist Superstar
Tabbed by: Lars E. Bakken (the lousiest guitar player in Sweden)
Ok. There isn't much to tab in this song,
but anyway it seemed to me that it was
enough to put up here. So here We go..

The first Part of the to is very hard to hear but I think it's something like:

E, G, C. Over and over again. I'm only sure of that E major.

Second part would be:

C
prick your finger it is done...
G
the moon has now eclipsed the sun...
A A#
the angel has spread his wings...
F
the time has come for bitter things...

And That's it Folks..

Cryptorchid

Tabbed by ÝjudasÝ

This is the synth part in the second half of the song. It's
really the only music that can be tabbed out in the song.

prick your finger it is done...
the moon has now eclipsed the sun...
the angel has spread his wings...
the time has come for bitter things...

e:-----------------------------|
B:-----------------------------|
G:-----------------------------|
D:-----------------------------|
A:-----------------------------|
E:---10---5----5-6-8---7-------|

If you want it to sound like the album,, let the notes ring.
Just listen, you'll understand. Its a fatty-boom-batty little
riff. Mess with it alot.

The most common congenital anomaly of the scrotum and testicles is the apparent absence of one or both gonads. I use the word "apparent" because the missing testicle(s) may actually be present inside the body cavity of the dog. The Greek kryptos means hidden, secret, or covered, and the Greek orchi- is a combining form referring to the testicles. The condition is therefore called cryptorchidism and the dog so afflicted is called a cryptorchid

says Muzzy: "Nobody is born to beleive in god, we are forced to." you couldn't have put it any better.. I can't really follow this up with anything since you hit the nail right on the head.

Actually, omikronmu is right. Cryptorchid is one afflicted with cryptorchidism which is a genetic defect (mainly in dogs) that keeps the testicles from "dropping" which means, they can't have kids. It leaves them sterile. Perhaps Marilyn Manson is refering to a feeling of impotence... Feeling like you can't do anything about a certain situation. Could also refer to the difficulties of coming of age. I don't know... just my two cents.

First off this song is called cryptorCHID not *CHILD. what that means who knows? but there it is. the person who submitted these lyrics left out some crucial backing vocals. Anyone who's heard this song knows what i'm talking about. Each time I make my mother cry An angel dies and falls from heaven [when they get to you] It changes the whole tone of the song, this line especially. He's saying that doing bad things as a kid kills an angel... or so "they" would have you believe. Whether or not someone is told this as a kid directly, i don't know. But, anyone who has grown up with religion has probably encountered some frightening scenarios like this at some point. Doom and gloom if you misbehave. Hell awaits and all that. Lyrically an amazing song. But, musically... sheesh. It gives me the shivers every time. Phenomenal.

in christianity the age 7 is viewed as the age of lost innocence. before then you are considered a pure, unspoiled child. at 7 you start growing up and become vulnerable to the evils of the outside world.

Every song has a meaning behind it but the way manson says it make it difficult to understand. But this song is greattt! As well as the whole album! A.C Superstar is the best manson's album ever!

"when the boy is still a worm it's hard to learn the number seven but when they get to you it's the first thing that they do" Possibly about how religion is forced upon us by our family, friends, etc. Even though we don't udnerstand what these things mean they try to teach it to us, so we have no choice but to beleive it. Nobody is born to beleive in god, we are forced to.
