Sarah McKagan
Musical Genius

The one eye i think represents the one vision you're allotted by society. You're democrat or republican, gentile or jew, punk or prep, man or woman, pro-life or pro choice. That mascara is her femenimity (sp?) blinding her. Her expectations as a woman that she has to live up to, without a concern for who she is or what she thinks. And the song asks who she sees in the world, but then says she can't see nothing, nothing at all. So she wants to see the world, but is essentially blind to it.

I think that the song itself is cool to listen but the text is just crap. There are much better songs on portrait of an american family

i think Glorge is right with teh whole media comment i think it is about how peopel are blinded by the media and the 'one eye in her head' is just saying u have one judgement and one opinion given to you by teh media.
