| I absolutely hate cover songs, but MM certainly knows how to make them different and his own. Sweet Dreams was another that i can't even imagine the original w/o it, MM is an amazing character. He's easily one of the most intelligent musical artist ever, all the negative effect from his demeanor is purely a sought out gift he was given due to the fact he uses his talent as a tool for mankind. | |

| I always felt that this song was about seeing how insane our society is, watching from a state of mind that the author feels is much more rational. Of course, like many of Mr. Warner's works, it comes off like an LSD anthem. I like this rendition better than Gary Numan's. I think Marilyn Manson really brought out something new and awesome in this song that wasn't there before (which is the hallmark of a good cover). | |
