	I love this song so much... I beleive this is about being raised in a Christian-infested society where in school you are taught only moral lessons instead of how the real world works. Then, when you're an adult, you just can't handle the thumpers around you telling you that you are evil, so you take drugs to ease your mind and forget about them. Also, wasn't 15 minutes of shame from 1984? Might be mistaken... I think in that part of the song he is talking about basically being forced to quit the drugs by christians, then being publicly humiliated about it.
