this is a song that makes you think "if you knew the world was ending tomorrow, who would you want to spend today with?." If you die with someone you never have to say goodbye to them, never wonder when you'll see them again. Everything over in an instant.

"He's not the stupid goth who yells 'kill kill kill' into the mic (what most people think)." Manson isn't goth, he (along with a fair few moronic mansonites) has created the image of goth being about yelling kill kill kill into the microphone. If you want goth listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, The fields of Nephilim, The Cure, Alien Sex Fiend, The Mission UK, All About Eve, Cocteau twins, Christian Death, Andi Sexgang, Sexgang children, Bauhaus, The Cruxshadows and many many other (whom I really cannot be bothered to name.) infact if you wanna see my point look up some cruxshadows lyrics to see real goth. (though admittedly they are darkwave, but that sorta comes under the whole goth thing.) anyway, beautiful song which expresses a beautiful sentiment.

I think that every SINGLE Manson song has a very, very thoughtful backround. He's not the stupid goth who yells 'kill kill kill' into the mic (what most people think). His songs are brilliant, they have a background and a menaning you just have to let yourself in so that you notice.

Beautiful song, like all Manson songs, this one has deep meaning and is very intelligent. I believe it's about the world collapsing and spending the last day with someone special who you didn't realize was so special to you until the day you died.

"In all my past lives I played an asshole Now I found you, it's almost too late" i think that it is about him being mean, or not caring for someone untill he was about to lose her, either to his death or hers its a great song!!!

i think here manson is talking about how weak we are and fragile, and how he hurt or drove someone he cared about away and the world ending is just the feeling of self hating despair. well thats what it made me think of at any rate.

Just like Speed of Pain, this song could also refer to drugs. Or anything that is you use to soften the pain of the world, be it narcotics, love, religion, or whatever.

This is one of the view "love songs" manson has actually written...and even then it's not really a love song. I think it symbolizes the collapse of everything and prehaps two people who were seperated yet their love for eachother still holds true...and that no matter what may happen they'll always stay together even in spirit. This could be the meaning...but i have no idea. I think it also talks about the collapse of the one of the "lovers"....and how now that he's finally found his love his world is falling into a decadent spiral to which is will soon die... Maybe i'm wrong...that's just my opinion
