| There's also the following lines in a later refrain. They can be found in the inside of the Portrait of an American Family insert, next to the lyrics for Lunchbox: Ever had fun as a child? Ever sold yourself for a quarter? It's the most...beautiful thing... The last is just present. | |

| Here's what manson said about this song: "The song is about being picked on and fighting back with my Kiss lunch box, which I used as a weapon on the playground. In 1979, metal lunch boxes were banned because they were considered dangerous weapons in the hands of delinquents." About the nikki sixx thing, I guess lunchboxes were common weapons (understandably so) and it's just a coincidence. | |

| Angry music for the meek, repressed and bullied kid in all of us. I wish life had a soundtrack so's this could play next time I have a fight! | |

| "next motherfucker gonna get my metal" is refferring to the ban of metal lunchboxes in Florida schools. Kids would use them to beat each other senseless. | |

| "Next motherfucker gonna get my metal" is referring to something he often talks about in his books and on interviews. American schools have banned metal lunchboxes, because the children kept bashing each other with them. He collects lunchboxes. | |

| This is one of my favorite Manson songs, he's so amazing in them all. but anyway, this song def. speaks to me because sometimes i feel like i need to grow up to fix my problems. that wasn't deep at all...and obviously thats not all it says to me. Whatever, much love to Manson!!! | |

| This seems like its about Manson growing up with his dreams and no one supporting or believing in him. He felt trapped ina world that didn't love or understand him. Its sad really. | |
