I think what this song tries to say is that when you are in a relationship it is about us, and of course when it ends what all you really meant to say that you really meant all those nice things about yourself. People get hurt and this song sounds like a song to alleviate the hurt that was caused by said relationship.

This song is great, and origional. I think it says a lot about people and how people think in relationships. People are very selfish and only think of themselves most of the time, and refuse to see things from another point of view. We are all blind. This is one of his BEST songs I have heard in a while.

dagoboy, why would manson say " I know i meant me?" as opposed to "YOU know i meant me". he's trying to prove a point to an ex-girlfriend that while they were dating everything was about them as a couple, but after the breakup, he's saying "well you know it really wasn't about US it was about ME". so yeah these lyrics are right.

xenodolf is right in his lyric correction, although I don't think his interpretation of it is quite right. I really don't care. Anyway, I believe the second time through, it's not "I won't regret," it's "I won't repent." Good song, I like the bit around "I never believed the devil was real."

"I never believed the devil was real, but God couldn't make someone filthy as you." Love that line. This song seems to be along the same line of thought as Para-Noir and User Friendly (from Mechanical Animals)

"I'm a VCR funeral, a definite waste" is incorrect. its "a dead memory waste" to reflect on how despite VCRs and VHS recording things correctly they are being discarded for a prettier medium (dvds) that do the exact same thing.

This song is dope and very real. It's about being in a relationship and not caring about the person as long as you're getting fucked and doing what you can to keep getting fucked

River Wolf's answer sounded the most realistic. I wish manson had a REAL site that decoded what HE intended in his own songs rather than hearing about it from abunch of ppl that really dont understand his meanings any better than I do....
