Sad sad sad cover song. I’ve never heard the original but I don’t know, but isn’t this
the MASH theme so I guess I have heard it. I love it how Manson does all these cover songs
and *** and I hate it how that bitch Courtney Love didn’t let Manson cover Teen Spirit
on the Mulan Rogue soundtrack, ***ing stupid bitch. I mean if Courtney Love died tomorrow
I wouldn’t care less, I think I would be more happier with my life. Well if you have any
comments, corrections or suggestions email me at ToXic345x@yahoo.com

THis song is simply an expression of quote from Friedrich Nietzsche, a German philosopher who was an Anti-Christ and wrote about very important things. Manson is a huge follower of his philosopher as am I and most poeple who have a brain in their brain as big as Manons' which is functioning on a sufficient level. This is the qutoe: ""The thought of suicide is a powerful solace: by means of it one gets through many a bad night" -Friedrich Nietzsche"

A cover tune is a song by an artist or band that a different artist or band remakes.

actually he wanted to die because he thought he was gay after being unable to get his gadget going, so to speak, at his last "date" with a woman not because he sucked as a dentist then they play the song at a ceremony where they give him a faux suicide pill (that he believes is real) awhile later he is "revived" by a girl showing him that his gadget is in perfect working condition and he thus joins the living again saying that this song mocks suicide isn't even half right IMHO, as there is no mocking of it in the movie it originated from M*A*S*H is full of black humor and cynisism, but it doesn't go as far as mocking death, whatever form it may take

I'd never heard about this song relating to MASH or anything like that and frankly I don't see the connection by listening to the song... It just seems to be a song about beautiful suffering. When such things are put into a medium, like music or art, the suffering becomes something even more beautiful and helps one to cope... Perhaps. Truly great stuff.

I agree with 'fading'.... The way he sings it just gets to you and makes you want to sit there and listen to it... He sings it magnificently... Slightly different than his usual works. This is truly a touching piece.

So if we dont follow Nietzsches writings we have no brain??? I beg to differ. I am not too familiar with Nietzsche, but I do know that his ideas caused a lot of problems in early 20th century Europe. I am, however, familiar with 20th century existensialists such as Sartre and Camus. Camus wrote an essay on this subject, it is called "The Myth of Sysyphus". Personal choice is a main emphasis. The first lines of the essay reads: "There is but one truly serious philisophical problem, and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the funamental question of philosophy." "Through early morning fog I see visions of the things to be" Great line, but maybe that is my small, insignificant brain speaking....
