| Fake abuse for our bios. Blacken our own eyes. Grass isn't greener on the other side. We set it on fire. And we have no reason why --- Although I agree with what Alexis507 said, I like to say things myself as well. That verse above is my favourite, not just of the song, but the album too. I think it's sort of saying, 'we're like this so too bad.' I was shown this song by my friend and she told me that the first thing she thought of when she heard the song was me. A stupid little goth kid, as I'm called in school. | |

| i think this song is kinda mocking mansons fans. manson is quite mainstream and so when kids go through that phase where they think they should rebel, quite a lot try to turn themselves into little marilyn mansons because they want to get noticed. does anyone else ever get the impression that manson laughs at his own fans? | |

| "We'll be the worms in your apple pie Fake abuse for our bios Blacken our own eyes The grass isn't greener on the other side We set it on fire And we have no reason why. " to me, is saying : that kids today, or modern intelligent society today, is sick of this idiotic adult control thing they they need to rebel. that we will sit there and hurt ourselves, make our selves look bad, just to do it, and just to get the anger out. and that the kids know the truth, so we're gonna destroy the evil we hate. "I've got my villain necktie And a mouth of hi-fi So sharp, I'm bleeding from my Judas Hole I'm the Arch Dandy No-goodnik and I'm headed For Crashville. I'm most monster with my groan box In the "Meat Show." ok, this is pretty easy to interpret, well to me at least, it's saying : we are set to attack, and were gonna say whatever we want. and when i see groan box in the meat show, to me that means: in todays society, these humans(meat) ,we must all speak our mind. and that manson is the loudest. he's gonna sing and yell (groanbox) all thats on his mind. "We've got the loudest stereotype Even neophytes deep six your pro-life. We don't need to move a single prayer bone We're so beautiful and damned Simply as a "still life." to me: we're happy being loud, the biggest stereo types, we are organized hatred. Even neophytes deep six your pro-life. means that even the newest, weakest rebels are gonna kill your perfection.and the next part, means: we like being as rebelious and ourselves as we are, so leave us alone. we are our own gods. Perpetual rebellion with absolutely no cause Stop the song and remember what you used to be Somebody that fucking impressed me to me: we will rebel and never stop, we do what we want, we our ourselves. and manson obviously is sick of people who conform. "We set fashion, not follow Spit vitriol, not swallow " to me: we make the changes, we will not conform. we will abuse you, you will not touch us. "We know who we are and what we want to say And we don't care who's listening We don't rebel to sell It just suits us well We're the bright young things " to me: this is a given, it's saying we are the new age gods, and we will be heard, no matter who will listen. they will hear. "Good for nothing but being Everything that's bad " to me: we aren't made to be your puppets, we are your enemy. :]]]]] | |

| I believe what doombunneh said about how he's mocking the goth's rebellion bullshit. "This is the new shit" is another song similar to this. | |

| im not sure if manson's mocking goths. theres a film called the bright young things, and the lyrics relate to the film quite a bit. im not sure of the meaning myself but im sure if anyones seen the film they could work it out quite easily. | |
