Just a note: the "Do You Love Your guns, god and government" part is from some speech called "Why do gods children suffer" I dont know specifics but the audio used to be on Mansons site. at the end of the speech they started singing some gospel song with the line "do you love your god...your god your government?" idk.

I'm not certain myself of the meaning, but according to the artist himself, the song is a statement in response to the Columbine tradgedy. His explanation was that the father is the hand, the mother the gun, and the son the bullet. Hence, destruction happens when any of the three parties behave improperly. It shows, then, that Columbine is not his fault, but rather the fault of the parents of the perpetrators, in that they could not discipline the children appropriately, but instead coaxed them on unknowingly. Note: It has been found that the shooters in the Columbine incident weren't actually Manson fans to begin with. Go figure.

if one million of us little freaks listen to MM, and two (who are already looking badass in trenchcoats) go psyco and waste like 30 people, its the two psycos, not the music. they screwed it up for the rest of us. now my dad wont let me have a trenchcoat. >:[

I get what you guys are saying about the meaning of the song, the those of you who said it was the preps fault and because they bullied that kid, well that's fucking retarded, a lot of kids get bullied but they don't gun down all their classmates. A lot of the kids who were killed and injured weren't even necessarily the ones who were picking on them. And because of the killer hundreds more are emotionall scarred, kids that had doen absolutely NOTHING wrong. So yeah.. i thiink some o the comments above are total bullshit.

it's about the three pillars of America (or in the Holy Wood story Celebretarianism) the three pillars are also reflected in the intro, GodEatGod. "Before the BULLETS" (guns) "Before the FLIES" (God) "Before AUTHORITES take out my eyes" (Government) you see now?
