Icarus is right. The first time I heard the chorus to this song I thought it definately was purposely like Cracked Actor. I dont know what u guys are talking about this is definately one of my favorite manson songs ever. And i know, i have every song he has ever made. This song is heavy and awesome thats all that matters

G.A.O.G. seems to me to be, in a sense, Manson's "fuck you" to many of his fans; he doesn't want stupid 13 year old kids who don't understand what he's saying and just want some angsty music to piss off their parents with as fans. In fact, they don't have to be 13 - Manson doesn't want any fan that is purely a fan because of image rather than because they understand his work. If you think of the album in this light the whole thing should make sense; he's both parodying how people portray his music and insulting the posers to their face. This song does the latter; when he says "turn your back it will be easier to stab" he's refering to these unfaithful and shallow fans. Songs such as Doll-Dagga and This Is The New Shit do the former; particularly on This Is The New Shit, the parody is so blatant that I don't see how anyone could miss it.

i think manson summed it up in the album. "my hate pop won't ever stop" and when somebody can create an album which gives people a sense of reality and realise that there is more out there he's done his job. Who cares if 13 year olds listen to this. he cant help that. people want to be percieved as cool and hardcore and manson makes them seem that way but this album was brilliant you guys shouldn't bag it because what you might hate may be anothers passion.
