| The moment I heard this song I fell in love with it… I can’t really see what’s so bad about it though. The song though talks about the beginning of the transformation the ‘worm’ gets. When will realize you're already there? This refers to how there thoughts are questioning the worm basically on how the evil of the world has come. So watered down-your feelings have turned to mud. Talks of how the thoughts in there head is telling the body that it has become weak from what has been happening and how religion is false and so forth. I know I'm slipping, I know I'm slipping, I know I'm slipping away oh no, it is everything they said it was oh no, I am everything they said I was Is the person speak back in realization of what has become. when you get to heaven you will wish you you're in hell when will you realize, you're already here you'll think us now that you have crossed over don't pick the scabs or you will never heal the world shudders as the worm gets its wings This shows how he is transforming from the worm into the anti Christ and becoming what these thoughts are telling him. then I got my wings and I never even knew it when I was a worm, thought I wouldn't get through it... Finally this shows his realization of his former stupidity as a worm and how he evolved to become what he is. Not sure if what I said was right but that’s my interpretation on it. | |
