And now for something completely different.... I see this song as a statement on how synthetic and controlled life has become, and that we no longer take actual risks or feel actual love anymore. Just my thoughts, though.

I agree to the this-song-kicks-Corgan-in-the-balls premise, and Reznors Manson-bashing Starfuckers works too. Ironically enough, this was like the second-most mainstream song of MA. I think its kinda funny that although Starfuckers was meant to be a slap in Manson's face, Manson is actually in the video for it

I think this is about how rap is taking over(which is sad). With the lyrics "Your sex and your dope is all that we're fed" explains all we are getting from rap is lyrics about sex and drugs and that artistic lyrics are dying.

I don't think I'm completely right on this one, but it could be partly about how people listen to music for the wrong reasons. They all like to listen to what's popular because they think it's cool, which just about killed the whole music generation.

I agree with King Nothing. In addition, the religion theme of amphetamines and religion being compared in the first verse shows how Manson feels religion is used in our society. The "1000 mother's are praying for it" line fits Nothing's analysis, in that, well, mothers do tend to prefer their children listening to soulless music. It makes them easier to control.
