John F. Kennedy is spot on about the Stalin quote, it is true though, if there is no personal tale of tragedy to focus on, we get bored really quickly.

This is my favorite song by Manson. It seems to be an anthem for the kids who were so easily closed their eyes to when they were doing the good things everyone wants, but when something bad happened they were punished thoroughly... And we all know this happens to many many people. It's so unfair, and they never deserve it. Why does bad always overrule the good that happens? It's another worldly fuck-up. This song shows that there will be some people who will stand up to the shit thrown at their face and show that they are no slave. They never will be, not once they take control. Also reference to the idiocy of people who show if one kid dies everyone knows about it, but if it's a plane crash they just simply show their names... Truly sad and angering.

I think this song is talking about christians trying to convert non-christians. He is telling you to fight for what you believe in and don't follow what people tell you to believe. Fight.

To me it's saying that I'm not going to cave in and do what the world wants, it's a shallow and fucked-up place, so I'm going to be who I am and never allow myself to get trapped in the slavery of our society. It's an athiest anthem, and you know there's gotta be alot of pissed off Christians. If they can produce their god music, we can publish our own beliefs as well. What goes around comes around.

"And when we were good you just closed you eyes So when we are bad we're scar your minds" i think it means that when hes not doing anything to controversial people pretend like he's not even there so when he does something that is bad people act like hes 'scaring peoples minds'

well he's certainly no slave to a judgmental and neurotically jealous God that demands that we worship and grovel and wail and beg for forgiveness.. but then neither am I. that kind of God does not exist in my mind. I believe that God exists, but what kind of loving God would willingly send you to Hell with NO CHANCE of redemption while saying "I adore you" in the same motion? certainly not mine.

Considering some of the lyrics and Manson's interviews, I'm positive that the repeated "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT" lyrics are just boldly clarifying Manson's views that all policy, law, control etc. in this world should be destroyed. One of Manson's strongest beliefs seem to be that there should be no rules in such a pathetic society as today, just everyone for themselves, for the result that those who are strong and have a will to live will surrvive while the weak will be crushed. Although I think Manson is a genious and love him, he can be a little overly cold. What he's saying is true, he respects individuality however often he dont care enough for the individual soul, love, emotion etc. Although I agree religion is a joke, he looks at man as a wild animal to much, not respecting the power in our hearts and minds. Each one of us.
