| When I hear this song's chorus I think about anti-depressents... "A pill to make you numb A pill to make you dumb A pill to make you anybody else" they numb you from the pain and change you're views and basicly turn you into what the government wants you to be. "But all the drugs in this world won't save her from herself" she still is going to continue to attempt to kill herself no matter how many pills they give her to try to make her numb. "There's something cold and blank behind her smile" this sounds like a girl who hides her emotions, acts happy at school but is miserable in the inside. "You were from a perfect world A world that threw me away today Today to run away " she did somthing to make everyone around her hate her, including her boyfriend Just a thought... probably not anything like the real meaning of the song. Reminds me of my old girlfriend who cheated on me a few times and the whole school hated her for a long time and kept attemtempting suicide and they had her taking all sorts of drugs to ease her pain but nothing could save her from herself. | |

| Well I think it has to do with drugs and a girl's life. If you own Mechanical Animals (and you have listened to it a lot), you would or atleast should know that Half the cd is about drugs, and the other half is life and thing of that matter. Look at the book there is more clues about what the song is about. Like it has a url to go to a site about coma white. Infact the url is right above the lyrics in the book. | |
