If I Was Your Vampire – Marilyn Manson
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Gary the Hann
Email: Ckyfan1@hotmail
Tuning: Standard
Just listen to the song to find out how many times the parts have to be played. There
a few variations in the ‘Bridge’ strumming but, again, just listen to the song. Good song,
musicians, good band.

| Love the song. Should be a good intro being that it is the first song their going to play on tour. All I have to say is that he wrote exactly what was happening when it did: 6AM Christmas morning. | |

| i think this may go with the title eat me drink me obviously its about someone being consumed by another person. i think he is trying to say here is that someone is sucking the life out of him with love maybe?maybe about dying with someone he loves? | |

| it's both depressing and happy at the same time. depressing because of its dark (yet beautiful) tone and happy because it has true meaning behind it. well, maybe happy isn't the right description. meaningful. yeah, meaningful. | |

| First of all I want to say it's an amazing song. First time I heard it I thought Manson has wrecked his new album already but now aftr listening to it again.. it just sounds more amazing each time. Believe me if you didn't like it to begin with. I am pretty sure its about a vampire who is in love and the two are only in love whilst he is a vampire. IT's such a beautifully lyrical song. Tragic love. | |

| I read somewhere that Manson received a call from Dita Von Teese somewhere in the stated time period (6:00 - 6:19 AM) The place I read this indicated that she called confirming their divorce. I also have a feeling that Manson felt as if that Christmas is a very celebrated night to most and while everyone else was giving/receiving gifts, he was alone at his home drinking absinthe with not even as much as reflections or shadows for company. | |

| I know that this album steps away from Satanism but in the Satan religion it mentions alot of this personal Vampire thing, and apperantly this song is about a friend who wanted to die or who was willing to die with Manson, I dont know what this song exactly means but I appreciate mansons new step in music, I was surprised to see no explicits, but I like the idea and level of his music now YAY Eat Me Drink Me Rocks | |

| The lyrics posted on here are wrong in parts but only minor mistakes. It isn't "'Cause the moon again" It's actually "Here comes the moon again" which brought an entire new reality to the song for me. | |

| i think tha song is rly pwerful, dramatic, its a big leap for manson. that band will always outdo themselves with every record somehow. i dont really get tha point of the song. i get wat its about but the intention of it confuses me. very poetic tho. i wish i understood the deeper meaning behind the vampire metaphor. neone? i luv tha first 2 lines - 6A.M., Chrismas morning No shadows, no reflections here thats quite deep. very cynical. 6 am on a xmas morning is usually when kids wake up early 2 get their presents and its all happy. they get their playstations and their mp3's from genourous parents. its devoid of real life hence the line - no reflections or shadows here. its the birthday of jesus - a symbol of love and happiness but its commercialised and made rather fake. however mansons depiction of his christmas in the morning at 6am is exactly the opposite - however its also an intense depiction of love - which is a more truthful, more honest christmas? im goin with manson. | |
