I'm glad there are people that hate it. They always make my day, these people that don't like artists that evolve. I love this song and If I Was Your Vampire.. I love it even more.

marilyn manson is awesome. all his songs have actual meanings to them; his music isn't shallow like other stuff i've heard.

This song is assume, zero is right but the other song (if I was you'r vampire) aint half as good as this one. I think the meaning is well known now. (about dita, not Lotita sure the some reffrences to it, but its mostly about his divorce) Cant wait untill june,5th.

I'm actually quite impressed with this song. Manson has done alot of changing through out the years and not everyone has liked it. if you do recall, every single manson cd has been distinctly different. and this is about what i expect his new sound would be like, industrial with depressing lyrics and impressive guitar lines. notice its not a complete turn around from his later work, but it is changing, that why i like manson so much, he doesnt repeat himself musically, theres much diversity in his sound from the screaming industrial metal of antichrist superstar to the funky glam rock of mechanical animals to the rave indusrial "hate-pop" of golden age of grotesque. he's almost always kept an industrial background, but expressed it in different ways. i think this song is about his divorce and reletionship with the 19 year old actress that he cheated on dita with. you fill in the blanks.

I also think there could be a lot of references to Evan Rachel Wood as well, especially with the "little girl" lines. Maybe saying that, when he kisses her, it heals him for the moment from his divorce, but he'll never forget it and he'll still love her.

Very awesome song. It definately has some reference to Dita. "kiss me, it'll heal but it won't forget". That line to me means that he can get over the pain of the divorce but he won't forget it.

oh, and to add, he also says a motivator was when him and Dita split around Christmas. He got really depressed, and felt like some really heartbreaking things had been done to him. Yeah, it's sad that I go and find that out, Manson is just an awesome and talented person. Very fascinating.
