	To me it sounds like a relationship that is falling apart from both sides. They still love eachother to a certain degree, and can't let go. They keep trying to make it work even though they know it won't. He is cheating on her, but still loves her, he just feels that it is hopeless at this point. He can't seem to talk to her. He listens to her cry and doesn't know what to do. He knows the relationship is falling apart, and that neither of them are happy, but even though he fools around on her he still loves her and it hurts to think that she might be doing the same, so he is going through her dresser to see if he can discover anything. He doesn't want to give up, he even blames it on the city (even though that probably has nothing to do with it really) but in the end it will probably fall apart. It is depressing.

	This is my favorite Maroon 5 song and I saw them in concert and they were awesome. Adam Levine has a very unique and very sexy voice. I think this is a song about a relationship that is nothing but ups and downs. Maybe when Adam Levine says "city" he is refering to their crazy confusing relationship, they're world when they are together... I sounded way too poetic just now. Maroon 5 is my favorite band of all time and will be for a long time. MAROON 5 ROCKS!!!!

	this sng is so gd and uplifting...but i think all u guys are way olda and see it a completely different lite...i c it more as if there is a guy hu breaks up wit his girl and hes jus collapsing under the pressures of evrytin..the city and he wnts to'get out'...i aint lke examind evry lyric but thts the general feeling i gt...i cn kinda rel8 to it and i luv it so much ...wot dus evryone else tink?

	I actually dont get to much of this song...i do try...but ill get it soon...but actually for some reason this song reminds me so much of my exboyfriend but it has nothiing to do with our relation ship...maybe its cuz i dated him while going through my maroon 5 stage but oh well this is still and will remain my fav. maroon 5 song.
