| robomalpa1 et. al. >love his song! espeshially >She said the battles almost won >And we’re only several miles from the sun interesting that everyone loves this particular line. without much regard it seems to the line: "And sometimes it’s a sad song" this is a sad, dark song, meant to invoke feelings of what could have been, and really has nothing to do with things ever getting better. and that's the point. that's how moved he was by her. it's not a song of hope, but of dispare. if it moves you to not let something go or lose something that good, then great. sometimes even sad songs can stir the right emotions. "the battle's alomst won" (we finally figured it out) "and we're only several miles from the sun" (too late to change course, we're about to burn up...) "you know it's sad but true" late | |

| Best Maroon 5 song? Most likely. Stunning, and I had just been on a great holiday and was missing somebody from it, so the lines 'But I cannot forget Refuse to regret So glad I met you Take my breath away Make everyday Worth all of the pain that I have Gone through ' made me think about all the good times I had with him, and made me stop regretting the bad moves I had made. Again, a great song. | |

| That no matter how things go bad it's not the end of the world, that things will get better, "The battles almost won and we're only several miles from the sun." | |

| This song reminds me of me. Like when my friends say I space out and get quiet. Then join the conversation like I never left it. I do this stuff. I think back on past lives, wonder about things. Except change the her's into him's because I think about a loved one that left me 2 years ago. That when I noticed myself doing this more than usual. | |
