The Mars Volta
Roulette Dares (the haunt)
tabbed by Dan Van Heuklom
I find this song easiest to count in 6/4. I've tried here to show the timing, because its
so important to this song. I'm not 100% sure on all these fingerings, but the way i show
it here sounds closest to the recording.

| I think BlackTippedWings has got it. "Midnight neuces from boxcar cadavears" I think "neuces" might be "nooses". And that might be talking about a stethescope on a doctor, and the boxcar could be the ambulance. I could be way off, but that's just my interpretation. "Made its way through the tracks Of a snail slouching whisper A half mass comute through umbilical blisters " It it is in fact talking about his ride in the ambulance, "Tracks" could be roads, "snail" could be the pace that he percieves, because morphine slows things down, and "commute" could be the ride to the hospital. | |

| I think the exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed could possibly mean a way of committing suicide using a train to run over you...?....that's the only thing I cna think of...LOL...EXCELLENT song, by the way! | |

| I noticed the end of this song and the beginning of the next sound like distorted sirens, possibly like one could hear in such a state as Julio. The spector lurking could be the persons inside the ambulance maybe. So, all this may be the way to the hospital after the attempted suicide. | |
