	Tamjam, I'm really going to hope your post was sarcastic because of all the caps, but for some reason I don't think it was. Thereforce, I'm going to treat it like an idiotic statement. Seriously, why do the majority of people seem to jump to drugs as the meaning of songs? You were right about one thing, the story isn't just a tale of guy climbing a mountain. There is a metaphor, but it's a personel metaphor for the band. They've said most of it deals with the band's personel journey in the music industry. They did the same thing with the Leviathan album. Also, you're even more idiotic if you think 10,000 Days was also about drugs. What does 10,000 Days refer to then, 10,000 days of being high? That album was very personel to Maynard, who wrote the title song and "Wings for Marie" about the death of his mother. See, metal bands can write about more things than just drugs. THANX ;)

	there both awsome albums, niether of which deal with drugs... exept maybe roseta stoned?! and i think its pretty obvios that the story is about a shapeshifter/ werewolf who is chosen by the gods to go put the crystal skull on top of blood mountain to relieve himself of the curse

	"Daylight Hide the skin" I don't know everything about werewolfs, but what I do know is that, in their own myths, they only appear at night. These songlines are a good reference to the hero I think.. (and the werewolf theory)

	^^Makes the most sense to me. Also, I think the main hero is a werewolf or something cause the song makes several refrences to shapeshifting and howling. I think that the protagonist has been cursed by becoming a werewolf and he finds the only way to get rid of the curse is to place the Crystal Skull on Blood Mountain.

	Yeah, it's obvious that the music video has little to do with the actual story. But has anyone see the video for Colony of Birchmen? That actually fits with the story a little.
