Home M Matt Costa Behind The Moon Guitar Tab

I saw Matt at the Gorge opening for Jack Johnson. He kicks ass so I bought his CD and I
think this tab is pretty accurate. If you hear the song it will help with the timing.

Ill be in your life again so baby, baby just say maybe
Bridge: (2x)
Chorus:
C G D Em
Now here I come to dance around the sun
C G D Em
Ive been oh so blue stuck behind the moon
C G D Em
Now let me in back where we begin
C G D
And let me hold you like the way
I used to do
(On "do" go to the intro lick and when you bend G, the lyrics go "oooh oooh")
Verse:
Bridge: (2x)
Verse:
Bridge: (2x)
Chorus:
The rest of the song pretty much repeats except for one part where he strums C G and Em.
If you listen to the song it isn't too hard to pick up. That's it, hope this helps.

Matt Costa is great. This is one of his very many different styles of music on one album. He would sound similar to Jack Johnson as he is on Jacks record label. Also people like Jack aren't "flooding the market" as Jack Johnson has been around for years. But this track is really good.

yeah I don't think they're flooding the market either. for example matt costa, jack johnson, and g.love are all on the same record and are a bit similar, but each has their own distinct personality. and daniel powter would never even be allowed to step one foot in their studio, so I don't know why you're comparing them anyway to the song, I think it's about how he likes this girl and he feels they were destined to be with eachother or something like that, but she's not really interested. matt costa has a nice way of putting things like this. he sort of uses metaphors, but not hard ones just nice ones

i love being first to comment! i dunno how i feel about this guy, cos my daddy loves him, and he likes katie melua! eek. this guy to me is a slightly improved jack johnson clone, and these guys seem to be flooding the market, james blunt, jack johnson, daniel powter, matt costa, etc. but i genuinely like this song, strangely enough, esp considering the other music i like
