| I love this song! The lyrics show us things like loneliness and pressure. How can life be like this? People isolate themselves and get lonely and depressed. Maybe because our society is stupid and discriminates people that wear different clothes or are from a different race. So, people who are discriminated against don't want to meet new people and they become inward. Why do people exclude somebody that in reality is like them? Think about it and try to change! Try to start a friendship with somebody you think needs love and affection! This is my opinion I hope you liked it. Bye (: | |

| When I heard this song for the first time I didn´t like it but now I must say "This song is wonderful". I think this song describes the life in a city really well because it talks about the typical problems many people have. Normally, I don´t like this type of music but this song is an exception. I hope this is an example to everybody because I know many people have got the same problems and they can´t get out of them. Álvaro, Portugal | |

| Wehehe, kiwi, its not a girl who sings that part. The guy just sings like a girl. Nevertheless a brilliant song. normally I don't like hip hop, but this song has feeling and deep lyrics. About our modern era, the forest-jungle has been replaced by a jungle of concrete. | |

| This song tells us how difficult it is to live in a Big City. People have to work hard and don't have time to amuse themselves and to relax. I loved this song, cos it is very suggestive, specially when I listened to it in my English class and I could understand its meaning. Maria Miguel** | |

| I think this song is about living a monotonous life in a city. Wake up, go to work, go home and sleep. Doing that everyday, and there's no time for having fun. It's kinda true to some people, some people just work to make ends meet and forgets about meeting up with friends, or having a relationship. It is kinda ironic for me, cos when i hear "a big city life" i thinks about going out everyday, have fun go clubbing and the stuff. while in reality this is not true at all, especially if you have a 9 to 5 job.. Well.. this is what i think about the song interpretation, but i'm sure there are people who don't agree with me. XD | |

| Yeah, i think it's about living in a city and how it can sometimes feel like a prison.. it can be very restricting with a lot of pressure. And the girl is sayng 'hey, wait a minute, calm down and take a step back'. I like it.. very nice to listen to late at night when you just wanna chill. | |

| Bosenjak, the chorus is sung in Jamaican Creole. "Babylon" in this context is a Rasta term for the police, and the general corruption in "the system". I think the general theme of the song is to sympathise with disadvantaged people who are more or less held down by their circumstances—the law is at best indifferent to their plight and at worst exploitative; better-off citizens are meanwhile absorbed in their own lives—which is done through the chorus, sung in a language perhaps more familiar to one of the disadvantaged groups. There is an added message to these people, though, which is "don't let the system get you down". Mattafix urge those in despair to calm down for a moment. Don't panic. Don't let it get to you. Furthermore, don't become hostile towards others, because some of them do care and can help you out in one way or another, even if it's just sharing some wisdom. I think de777 was on the right track, but I think they have understated the pressure some people find themselves facing. It's not so much a case of boredom being their problem, it's facing a real battle to even feed themselves and/or their family. For example, when de777 says, "wake up, go to work, go home and sleep", the problem for many of the disadvantaged people is that they have no work to go to. You can see the video clip for this song at Mattafix's website (mattafix.co.uk); it should make things a little clearer. | |

| I really loved the track the fist time I listened to it. I think that it's all about city life and how we sometimes forget to meet friends, have a moment to relax and how we pass by thousands of people in the streets and we just ignore them cos we are to busy and stressed to notice these things. Well that is my opinion I hope you liked it xD Bye! | |

| Just loved this track the first time i heard it, it's so chilled out in a kind of way,What its about? well i am not too sure but what i get on first impressions is that its all about city life and how we cant seem to get free of the preasure it puts on us. Don’t you wanna know me?, Be a friend of mine. I’ll share some wisdom with you. Don’t you ever get lonely, From time to time Don’t let the system get you down the above verse puts an image in my head of crowds of people walking past each other in busy streets and no one knows each other. I dont wanna analyse it too much i just wanna enjoy it with a nice joint :o) | |

| I think the song is very catchy to the ear and the lyrics are interesting, too. I specially liked the video because it adds some ideas which help us to understand the general meaning of the song. "Take a moment to relax before you do something rash" is clearly related to the moment the girl is trying to break into the shop or maybe to the skater who is about to take drugs. The graffitis shown in the video (the words seek, tragedy, love ) also have a deeper meaning... Maybe people who seek tragedy and can only be helped if they find love... P.S. Fabio, it was great to see your comment but you need to work on your English lol Give it a second try! | |
