The song you're thinking of is probably "Hello Time Bomb"... that was a far bigger hit in America than "Load Me Up", and, to date, the ONLY MGB song I've heard on American radio... although I've seen other videos here.

This song is simply *Alanis* (my definition of a superlative ;-) ): He is singing to someone he know that needs some kind of help, either/and in psychological and physical ways. He tells this someone that he can relate to this person and does some kind of colloquy in which he faces and critics this "disguise" people put on nowadays, on which it is so hard to put it down in order to being just who you are.

i saw Matt Good live at Grand Beach Rock Fest this weekend and he was absolutely amazing. He played this song and got the whole crowd it sing along with him, it was incredible
