"Your Body is a Wonderland" (live version)

Song by: John Mayer

Standard tuning with capo on 1st fret

Tab is made WITHOUT regard to capo so a "1" on the A
string is really played open. Also, I finger-pick
the whole thing and the "xxx" means hitting the
strings with you hand not muffled. If you can play this,
I am assuming you know what a slide, hammer, palm mute,
bend and staccato (quick note) are and look like.
There are other tabs without a capo but I like mine.

SOLO...sort of. (rythem = one ee and a two ee and a etc...)
This is tricky because you have to quickly hit-mute-staccato.
Ive added the base line in parentheses for no particular reason.

i smell sex. i saw this boy in athens, ga last week and he shot the video to 'no such thing' before the show started. he's got dave's wit for sure, they both have the same comedy style. ...and another thing they both have in common: making raunchy, anonymous sex a beautiful thing.

"There's something bout the way the hair falls in your face I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillow case You tell me where to go And though I might leave to find it I'll never let you head hit the bed without my hand behind it " Thats just an awesome way of putting it!

Oh my God, this is hands down one of my absolute favorite John Mayer songs!! He has once again written a perfect song, and the line, "There's something bout the way the hair falls in your face, I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcase, you tell me where to go and though I might leave to find it I'll never let your head hit the bed without my head behind it" gives me shivers. It's just a sweet song and it doesn't help that John Mayer is damn sexy too:p

john just rocks...I was able to see him live a few times, and each time ,this song just gets me. I mean honestly...who else could put a song like this into motion and send the listeners reeling....? I think john definately has some of dave's style, but then again he is really coming into his own too....in his short 15 month career.
