And I can’t say I really blame you
For being bored with the beginning

But don’t you know
D/B Asus4
There is a reason strong, move slow
Gmaj7 G6 Gmaj7 G6
Pre-chorus:
D/B
And I'm okay

Wasting time

We are tracing
D/B
I hope you know
Gmaj7
We are tracing
Verse 3:
Dsus2
And if you want to know the moment
I knew that I was still alone

I found I never learned your number
I only stored it in my phone

I'd know the shape of calling home
Gmaj7 G6 Gmaj7 G6

We are tracing

I hope you know

We are tracing

We're both alone

We are tracing

We are tracing

| this song is about relationships and how people jump in the middle, move fast, do everything that you'd expect to see in a relationship of about 6 months in 2 weeks. you pretend that you're in love because you both want to be, you never memorize the number you just say what's your number... put it in the phone, never dial, just select the name and send... tracing is just following the lines of the relationship before that you're trying to emulate. the bottom line is the fact that it will never be that... yaaaa! | |

| This song is on the Bigger Than My Body Australia Single, which you can get pretty cheap on ebay. It also has one of my favorite John Mayer songs - his cover of Radiohead's Kid A. BTW, I think I'm a little slow, cos I can't really pick up on the meaning of this song - like "you always see the bottom line". What am I missing? | |

| yeah i agree with mayerhavemybabies ...lol sounds a little wrong from me but anyways. i think it\'s about a relationship that is kind of fake but there is hope they can get together (strong move slow). i\'m not very sure what he means by \"tracing\" | |
