Artist: Paul McCartney
Song: Here Today
Album: Back In The World live 2002
This is the version played on the cd of Paul McCartneys world tour of 2002. This song
be fingerpicked except in parts B and C. The chords with the ( ) can be excluded, it is
a suggestion to get the right tune of the song.
I made this version combining the good stuff from to other versions, as neither of them
correctly to me, and some of it was plain wrong. Plus I added a little of my own.

| handsdown4dbeatles: For the record, I tell my best friend - a fellow male - that I love him a lot, actually. Whenever he feels down or I say something by accident that hurts him. I think that, in order to be close, dear friends have to be able to admit their love for one another - people just don't often realize that "love" doesn't necessarily mean "romance." Anyway, wow. This song is just so touching. | |

| I cried when I first heard this song! It's just so beautiful! And how many times have you heard someone say "I Love You" to a friend? Especially a boy? Go Paul!!! | |

| i'm shocked no one has commented on this song... maybe not enough know about it. this song is beautiful and yes, about john lennon. paul wrote this right after the murder of john... you can tell they really loved each other. the irony is that ballroom dancer comes on next and i believe that's about how john and paul used to "fight like cats in dogs til they made it up in the ballroom" which is a metaphor for the studio... just a thought. peace. | |
