She Falls Asleep (Part 2)

Cracking piece of music... Not like McFly at all! :)
Not sure about that Db/F in there, but I couldn't find anything better. If you play it
quick it works... Most of the 'interesting' chords are noted underneath. I've tried to

| Reminds me of when I have to phone my friend when I'm upset and he's always there for me when I'm down. But then there's sometimes he knows nothing he can say can help me and he feels so helpless. I think it's hard when a girl relys on a guy to help her out when she's had a bad break up cause they feel so helpless, but sometimes guys are the best people to talk to about it! | |

| This is a brilliant song, end of. Like everyone else said, it's about a girl committing suicide, and her being "asleep" is actually her being, well, dead. I think that this is a great song, both lyrically and musically, and it really shows how they've grown (especially Tom, who wrote this one) since the happy go lucky vibe of the last album. | |

| This signifies they have really grown up lyrically. Can't imagine them putting this on their first album. As Tom said 'She was just depressed but we elaborated...' Plus, Broadway-ish sound. | |

| I am not a McFly fan. But unlike many others who like similar music to me, I decide to lookpast their boyish looks, media attention and general teenage popularity when it comes to judging their songs. And I have to say that this is by far their best song to date. And I mean by far. This song excels anything I could expect from them. The instrumentals are great, the singing is great and the lyrics are great. The McFly have made an almost perfect song and they deserve alot of credit for it. Yet we know that will not be the case don't we? Fair enough, some people may not like this song. But what are the odds there will be some more anti-McFly comments (hello Atreyurdabest) from closed-minded individuals who find it far too uncool to like anything McFly and inflict their music snobbery at every opportunity. McFly are far from being m favourite band, but this song is a touch of class. | |

| This song is about a women,Tom knew who was depressed,he took it a step further to her commiting suicide, which she actually did'nt do. I'd say McFly are my favourite pop band, but I reckon McFly are closest to rock pop can get. Also,'She falls Asleep' is amazing live. On the dvd it actually shows you that McFly do in fact play their own instruments..and very well may I add. | |
