Am I the only person tabbing Tom McRae songs? There must be more fans out there.
I just went to see him at the Shepherds Bush Empire and he was amazing. The new
album is simply sublime, I haven't got the first album yet but it will soon be
mine.

The song is played with barre chords

Chords:

F - (1 3 3 2 1 1)
A - (5 7 7 6 5 5)
Am - (5 7 7 5 5 5)
Dm - (x 5 7 7 6 5)
Bb - (6 8 8 7 6 6)
C - (8 10 10 9 8 8)

Intro
F Am x2

F Am
We fall through water
F Am
Unsung unseen
F Am
And days thought endless
F Am
Lose more light and heat
Dm A
So let the dead bury the dead
Dm A
I should leave

Dm Bb
For I am
Dm Bb
For I am overthrown
Dm Bb C
Confess to me now
Dm Bb C
Confess to me now

F Am
Half in sunlight
F Am
And half in shade
F Am
Words in collision
F Am
I bend to your shape
Dm A
I see the skull beneath the skin
Dm A
I see it all

Dm Bb
For I am
Dm Bb
For I am overthrown
Dm Bb C
Confess to me now
Dm Bb C
Confess to me now

For the interlude just pick through Dm for a bit and then Dm and Bb like in the
first part of the chorus. Just before the final chorus pick through C, and then
pick through the chorus chords to move the song slowly to a finish. End on a slow
strum through Dm and that's it!

Also I find that finger picking this song is just as good if not better than playing
it with a pick. Slow the pace down a bit and it sounds wonderful. Happy playing!
