	Yeah, my dad liked this song back in the late 60's/early 70's and he said that the song reflected a theme felt by many men who were sent to Vietnam during the war, and that it states how they feel "And then while I'm away I'll write home every day And I'll send all my loving to you" Meaning that they were writing home to their families, and trying to remain true to their wives.
