| To me, this is one of those songs that can mean something different to everyone. Well, to me, just about every song can have a different meaning to everyone. It helped me to not do something totally stupid, and I realized that there's more things to go on for. And that day, it felt like Tony was singing directly to me, as lame as it may be. This song just means so much to me, and it's definitely a classic in my book. | |

| this is my fave song on the album--im not sure about the meaning..obvious meaning about someone who is dying and they dont know whats going to happen next..like waiting for a cure or waiting for some results..anyways..awesome song with good instrumentals. | |

| I think that this song is about someone dying (obviously). And it's prolly just cuz of an illness or an accident of some sort. And i think it just decribes how people would feel in the waiting room: "I’m sitting here, crying here You’re alone and dying There waiting for bad news Like walking on broken glass No answers for what was asked" anyways it's a really good song, and sad. | |

| I can see the part about someone dying, but I can also see it as someone trying to protect someone they love from an abusive situation and that they'd give their life to save them and you're telling them to hold on because eventually it's going to be ok. | |

| yea i think it is about some one dying from the way the lyrics are but i also think it talks about feelings for someone too in a way because some of the lyrics relate to the way i felt when me and my ex broke up because when we started talking about things of our relationship i realized that we were gonna brake up and i was sitting their wanting to cry and alone because i knew that bad news was gonna come out eventually. after it happened i did wanna give up because te pain was too strong to hold on too and i also would've given up ne thing to keep her one more day but in the end i got through it. | |
