	there is definately a biblical undertone but i believe Time isnt one of the four horseman. Its War instead. but i agree with King Nothing. Although the song is primarily about the apocalypse, the 4 members of the band starting out on their "conquest of the world" is a 2nd meaning.

	lmao you guys are pathetic the song is about metallicas up-coming conquest of the music world, nothing else theres no religious meaning whatsoever the four horsemen are a metaphor for the four members of metallica and if you disagree think for a moment and use your common sense theres four members in metallica, they wear leather, and the song is on theyre DEBUT ALBUM KILL EM ALL

	I agree with everyone who said it has to do with the Bible. Given Jaymz's background, it actually should be obvious that it IS referring to Revelations 6 (Could be wrong on chapter, don't have Bible with me). As for Battery Head and his Mechanix, why listen to Megadeth's version when this one is so much better? Hell, this song proves Metallica's dominance over Megadeth since Dave did write the thing, but Jaymz and Lars made it better.

	PLAIN AND SIMPLE; this song IS referring to the bible. if you actually knew anything about METALLICAs songs(or the bible), you would realize that this is not the only song they have dealing with stories from the bible. about themselves? wtf?? have you ever read the lyrics before?
