	top song by metallica.. one of the best on st.anger for sure... when i first read all the lyrics on the new album i thought... what the f**k... jaymz could do alot better.... but i read them again and when i got to the unamed feeling... i loved it! i think its about jaymz and his drinking problems... when he says "it comes alive, and i die a little more" and when he also says " cross my heart hope not to die, swallow evil, ride the sky" it sounds to me like he is talking about alcohol and his problems... there are many other lines in the song that relate to his drinking problems... i dunno... thats just my thought..... great song and one of my metallica favorites!!!

	this is a mad as fuk song, 4 sum reason when ever i throw on st anger i always skip to this song. great melody, could of used a solo though. still one of my favourite 'tallica songs

	I loved this song right away. James' singing on this one is absolutely amazing. And I second what y'all said 'bout its meaning.

	Great song. This is the only song on the cd that I didn't have to get used to because it sounded more "Metallica" like to me with the pace and then the rhythm at the chorus. But the whole cd grows on you and they isn't actually a bad song on it. better_than_you, I think you're right on it. Everyone has an unnamed feeling for whatever reason it may be. Whether it's anger, hurt, pride, love or whatever. We all have been through situations in which we feel something building inside of us. He recognizes the unnamed feeling building in him and gets fed up with everything and wants the be by himself, work through it and then move on. Anywho...very kick ass song!!

	I am worried that after all the therapy they won't have anything to be angry about and will have lost the aggression which made the music so good. I know that's slightly selfish, but can u imagine the next Metallica album to be about how we should all be loving each other... :-)

	i agree totaly with you krazylunitic, i think as metallica get older they keep the metallica edge but change the feal for the music. and again i'll say that the unnamed fealing has to be the best on the album and one of their best ever. a lot of people seem to say that this album dosnt have the feal of metallica, however i feal it does, granted it dosnt quite have the raw power produced from previous albums but its still metallica and a great album.

	this album is pure anger unleashed it's instinct and feelings that flows on the instruments... it's all so uncontrolled, and probably that's why there aren't guitar solos... and this song is that feeling of confusion and emptiness that follows the rage... and when it ends you're ready again to feel all within your ends again...
