| Another one of Metallica's best. This is like the first song that "Tallica showed signs of growth in their music. Let's face it, "Kill 'Em All" was a good album, but it followed what was expected of metal bands at the time. "Ride the Lightning" broke away from that and this song especially helped develope the Metallica style. This song, like all the old shit, is best played live. (i.e. S&M, Cunning Stunts) And as Metallica's first anti-war song, your know it will f'n blow you away. | |
