maddox... please put your caps lock off... you can't compare slipknot to metallica, and let people have their own fucking opinion if they don't like the same thing as you do. isn't that what slipknot is all about? 'let me be who i fucking am' and it's a damn shame that now a days all those peepz make nu-metal and shit. where are the beautiful kirk hammet-style solo's!?!?! Metallica kicks ass, too bad they don't make speed-metal like they used to do anymore

Slipknot is just some generic, dime-a-dozen band that is "angry at the world". Try some originality. Metallica was a ground-breaking band that brought metal to the mainstream. There is no way that any band in the same genre is remotely as great or influencial as Metallica, including today's heavy metal bands.
