affectations, burning bridges, lying....how could this song not be the real world/road rules theme? it pretty much encompasses everything the show encompasses...think about it...

i think that this song is about a person who changed themselves in order to be accepted or succeed in life. and that they are easy to see through despite their efforts to hide who they really are

I realy love this song,im a long time midtown fan,and im not sure if I liked it as the theam song for battle of the sexes, but the song rocks and deserves to have some reconition. By the way the lyrics are perfect for mtv's pop culture,it's about someone not being themselves. Besides they were on mtv once previos,on real world, the super cool Rachel had a crush on Gabe. She also went to one of their shows during the show. She said she met them after a warped tour date the band gave her a ride home. I Heart Midtown!

What is battle of the sexes... and all you people that are complaining that its the opening for this show... you have no right to complain because obviously you have watched the show before to know that this song is there... oh yea this song is great... especially the part where he says you dont fool anyone and theres that little "doo doo doo doo" by the bass i think... great song...

This was the first song I've ever listened to by Midtown, although it's not my favorite. I prefer "Perfect" or "Like a Movie" . It's a great song, none-the-less :)

I dont really understand why MTV chose this song as the theme for Battle of the Sexes, although it is a great song... Any thoughts?

this song is about someone who's putting on a facade. Maybe trying to make their life make sense.

this is definitely one of midtown's best, i'm surprised not many people commented. this song definitely has a lot of meaning, and i really think it's about someone who is trying to be someone theyre not.
