Band: Mindless Self Indulgence
Song: I Hate Jimmy Page
Album: Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy
Track: 13
Tabbed By: sevenknot
Tuning: Drop D

This is my first tab and I think I did it pretty well :)
If you have any mistakes you found or have a better way to play it email me at sevenknot@yahoo.com
Listen to the song for the correct rhythm and the right placing. It tried my best to give
you the rhythm by
putting in the first set of lyrics in that section. Enjoy.

pink_angel016, i appreciate your sticking up for Jimmy Paige, however any real Mindless Self Indulgence fan would know that Little Jimmy doesnt really hate Jimmy Paige. Every interview he has, people always ask about that song. and Jimmy always say he doesn't really hate him. Let me dig up an actual quote here.. "Well, I don't hate him as a person. I mean, I've never met him. But I hate the way people emulate his music. It's like, c'mon, fucking move on. I don't know if I would hate Jimmy Page if I met him. Not like he'd care since he's probably never heard of me."

oh yeah, and Drexial, if you think they wrote that whole song to dis Jimmy Paige you're insane. Did you even read the lyrics? They're making more fun of themselves than they are Jimmy Paige. Read the lyrics before you go critiquing them.

I think people get too hung up on musicians from the past. They did their thing and it's over now. It's time to move on.

Lol, your post cracked me up. Ok, ok, I completely understand if you like this song, that's ok with me, but seriously, you can't say that they're better than Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album spent over 700 weeks on the charts. Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" is the number 1 rock song of all time. Now when you can tell me that this shitty band has done ANYTHING like that, then I'll respect you.

sorry dude, if jimmy page has to sell out to Puff Daddy then i cant have much respect for the guy. though i wasnt really into much of led zeplins music anyway, only a few songs. im more of a Doors and Pink Floyd person. though i dont really think that MSI has much talent in the lyrics department, everything else they have going for them is pretty sweet, they have some cool music and his singing style is creative. But to write your longest song about one person, completely insulting them, is kinda rediculus. if they had some help writing songs, they would be much better.

i agree in that jimmy page is held in too high regard dont get me wrong he is an awesome musician and the fact that he could "buy they"re whole fucking career with the change in his pocket"-pink_angel016 is really irrelevent since they havent had enough time to really establish themselves they just really got in to it and u thnk they are doing awesome for the time that they have been around, and dont hold me to this but i think they have only been together since 99 although jimmy let out a solo album a little before then with the name mindless self indulgence

All "old" music is held in such high regard these days, as long as you're stoned, have a relatively raspy voice and can play a half-decent solo with 2-minute intervals of struggling drum beats, its called genius. Wow. Yes, I am referring to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. I listened to The Wall, got bored within two songs and popped another CD into my player. Sorry I'm not good enough for your elite, "talented" taste.
