Weeee very fun solo. Also the lead guitar has some kinda funky effects on the
chorus so im not sure about if its right or not, but it sounds good to me. Have fun...

| Great lyrics can make a good song even better. You might hear a line in a song and think that it's inspired and that you've never heard anything better before in your whole life, and that the lyricist is a genius for coming up with it. But sometimes, the lyrics are great but the song itself is totally shitty. Afterall, it's the music that makes the song because without the music, it's just a poem. Minus The Bear make great songs that are super catchy and great to sing along to. Other bands can worry about writing complex poetry and lyrics, for now, I've got Minus The Bear who will entertain me with their great music. | |

| I saw Minus the Bear in concert last summer and they mezmorized me on stage. They rock, but I won't say they are the best band out there. Like SickandTired said, their lyrics aren't great or anything. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing them again, though. | |

| To everyone out there who bashed MTB lyrics: Are you crazy?? Song lyrics don't need to be comprised of huge words that form a giant poem. MTB lyrics cause the listener to feel EMOTION and connect with the words, setting, and music! They're lyrics are amazing because every listener can relate to them. | |

| Everyone and their mother is crazy about Minus The Bear. I didn't think much of them at first, but now that I've given the album a good listen or 12, I, too, love Minus The Bear...well, not as much as their song titles. | |

| it's money there is no bullshit. The song just basically says to me anyway. "we were at a party or something, and we decided that it would be more fun to just drive around and get drunk." then later it's like "it's nice out lets stay out on the dock and drink, just me and you" I like this song alot, it is like a picture of a night with a girl. What more do you need, alchohal, your/a girl and some time. | |

| gun_left_behind has the right idea... Just because you don't speak in poetry doesn't mean it's terrible. These guys aren't idiots because they don't write 'meaningful' (whatever that means) lyrics. If you go to their message board, you'll see they're actually quite intelligent and simply choose not to write in a convoluted way. | |

| compare the deep-and-meaningful-lyrics discussion to the deftones. there's a band that has quite simple lyrics too and pulls it off damn well. it's not so much of a compare, but i like the lyrics to this song by minus the bear. you don't need all that "ruse of metacarpi, caveat emptor" (the mars volta, for those who don't know) stuff with every band. minus the bear plays great indie-rock, which is also great for parties, there's not many bands who play intelligent music which would be good party music | |

| I love Minus the Bear, but I'm not going to give you one of those weak, "My band can do no wrong, how can you say that?!" opinions. You can sit there and try and rationalize by saying that the lyrics are great because they are simple and whatnot, but the fact is that they really do have terrible, boring, and unintelligent lyrics. But that doesn't change the fact that they are a great band. | |

| It’s one thing to write with a tremendous vocabulary and sound intelligent—but it’s another thing to HAVE that knowledge and use simple words and speak with sense. I admire people who write with simplicity. Minus the Bear's lyrics are about going on road trips, getting drunk, and falling in love. It's about having fun in life, and their music is just as bouncy and lively. | |

| yeah it's a great song. they are falling in love. they had a few glasses of wine. they feel free. they dont need to think about the problems, their problems, all they want is to enjoy the moment. they feel free. they are young. they want to do everything and they feel there's nothing they can't do. what could be better than this? it's more than just 'a great night', it's THE night :) | |

| crazy fucks and their song titles. the song is simply magnifying a perfect night. i assume he's trying to get us into the whole situation...which works, actually. it's nice to imagine being with someone you possibly love and loves you back all the meanwhile being in a car that travels faster than your very feet with the cool breeze blowing your face and the tipsy all-is-well drunkeness in your system. | |

| okay.. really.. minus the bear has some of the shittiest lyrics ever.. but.. when they are put together with the music.. which is probably some of the most amazing stuff i've ever heard.. the lyrics kind of add a sense of nostalgia to the music.. so it makes it perfect to just sit back and chill to.. it makes me happy.. | |
