The minor scale has a rather darkish, evilish sound, and is therefore oftenly used in 
Heavy Metal!  
The formula is: T ST T T ST T T.  
Just like for the major scale above you can now build a minor scale in any key.  

Here is an E minor scale, starting on the 5th string:
