| It's obvious that this song is about a murder. I personally can see it has being about this guy who has an obsession with a specific girl and he lusts after her so, but she is a virgin and turns him down. He gets ticked off because he wants to sex it up with her and she won't give him the time of day so he kills her. I think the song is him reflecting on his actions as he's driving down the highway on his way out of town and he's thinking how bloody easy it was to off her. I first heard this song about two years ago in my English class. Our final was to pick a song, write down on a piece of paper all the poetic devices in it and then play a part of the song for the class. I will always remember Sam Rither playing this song and thinking how horrible it was that somebody would go kill some chick. I don't think the same way any more. I don't think it's a terrible song. | |
