| As it is with most Misfits' songs, the meaning is pretty straight forward. It's about man tampering with the fabric of reality, or the genome, etc. and creating something that ends the world. I personally think it refers to opening a gate to hell, a la "Ultimate DOOM;" but that's just me. | |

| This is a great song. I love the harmonys and of course the sense of doom portrayed through all these lyrics. I guess you could take a literal meaning of these words, that we have actually broken something, and now we are "fucked". The meanings could even lie deeper,into religion. Not opening is never knowing, so why deny knowledge? | |
