| This reminds me of how my ex-girlfriend and I use to be inseparable, the endless consecutive days we spent together over the summer. It reminds me of our pinnacle. Love was so strong once, and after a year of seeing one another so often, it was just too hard to keep that same level, even though forcefully did I try. At least we once had that love and can hold on to the memory forever – Such innocent and happy times. As I look back at the experience, I never regretted breaking up with the girl I once loved, I couldn’t lie to myself. I was happy because 'at least we tried' hard, and as it lasted - it was worth every second… With that love now gone, there is no need to shed tears; it was worth the journey, which will reside in both of our most joyful memories. Now we stand as close friends smiling at one another: “At least we tried” I can honestly admit that slowly losing love for someone is worse than searching for it. And I think that is why this song is so sad. | |

| This is such a sad song. I think its about someone who is talking to his wife, about a child that they couldnt have. :( At least we tried, but we lost it. Oh my baby, just say goodbye. I mean when you think about it thats really quite sad. | |

| I like the idea of a lullaby.. I always saw it as a man who was dying and saying good bye to his wife. Perahps he was struggling with a sick ness, and they tried to fight it. I could totally be wrong. lol. | |
