This is my first tab and I'm not to sure if this will be my last.
Before you read this I want to acknowledge that modest mouse is a
totally dedicated individualist band. I have never heard anything
like them. Around where I live there are a bunch of idiots who love
to come to sites like this and learn songs like these and try to look
cool by playing them. Well let me tell you what, hopefully you're not
one of these people and if you are, well then, good luck to you
and your foolish fantasy. And I quote "I do not need for you to tell
me that I'm not a cat."
This is the intro to the song where the guy sings about a guy who
doesn't want to cut his hair and so on.

D------7------5--5-----5----3---------------------------------
A----7--7---3---------5-5--3-3--------------------------------
E--5----------------3-----1-----------------------------------
During all the versus this is played and is repeated as many times
as you hear it.

D-7-7--5-5-5-5--3-3----------------------------------------------
A-7-7--3-3-5-5--3-3----------------------------------------------
E-5-5------3-3--1-1----------------------------------------------
This next part is after most versus if not all. It's the part
where the guy keeps on saying "uh oh oh uh oh oh uh uh oh oh ohohohohohoh"

Thats how it's played and I probably missed something but this is the main idea.

| In a way, you are all right. I know all of here must be huge mm fans and i dont wanna put anyone down are insult anyone, but you gotta read stuff about them. I was readin a interview with Isaac and he said that all his songs mean whatever you want them to mean. He writes them with no specific point to get across, he wants everyone to enjoy mm music for whatever motivation they can find in their songs. rock on. | |

| Which version does everyone like better, the one on Baron Von Bullshit Rides Again, or the one on The Moon And Antarctica? They are similar, but I think the Moon And Antarctica has a better sound to it (its not live). I heard it first on the live CD though | |
