"Its been agreed, the whole world stinks " To me this means that everyone agrees that the world is a bad shape because of all the evil and wrong-doing that takes place on a daily basis. "So no ones taking showers anymore" People are actually using dirty-methods to get ahead, like a corperation using child-labour to increase profit. People who do try to live good lives are at such a disadvantage, and so no one bothers to clean up the world.

i think it is about the rape charge, if you read ab the story it totally fits, everyone heard about it, thats why he feels everyone hears every little sound and think ab "i cant be blamed for nothin anymore"

I wouldn't say its the best, but its pretty good. And i think part of it is saying, don't talk shit behide people's backs. Some how they'll hear about it.

Whether or not this is the correct song, one of the songs on Moon and Antarctica IS about the rape charge.

Maybe there's a point saying that this is about the rape charge, or maybe he's just paranoid about people listening to him, but what caught my attention in the song was the sentence "It's been agreed, the whole world stinks, So no one's taking showers anymore" That single line made me laugh. It's kinda depressing, but somehow also very funny.

"laugh hard, it's a long way to the bank" is a reference to the old phrase "laughing all the way to the bank". to me it's like saying "you have a lot of money and think you're happy, but you better keep on telling yourself that because happiness from money is transitory and won't last." or something. it fits in with egoat711's idea to me.

This song is great! In my world, this song has nothing to do with rape charges. It has to do with going backpacking for months! Just think about it, all the walls are really thin, cause they're tents. No one cares about showering, cause there aren't any showers up in the mountains, and no one cares anyways. And when you're in this situation, hiking around with a bunch of people, the normal amounts of privacy we like get all squished up and these kinds of things happen.
