jesus, don't put so much weight on dramamine. people who get motion sickness in airplanes take it, therefore he's "traveling swallowing dramamine." brock was plenty stoned when he wrote most of the album. just enjoy it. it doesn't mean much.

so. dramamine. definitly an unpleasant trip. and. if you do it for the tripping affect you lose your vision. you literally cannot focus on anything. it's like you're seeing it from very, very far away. and just the other obvious signs of this song being about travelling and swallowing one too many dramamine.

There could be a reason he has taken so much dramamine, not for recreational purposes perhaps, but because the world makes him dizzy, it moves very fast and there are a lot of ups and downs. Hence the motion sickness, and he's taken enough dramamine to start tripping. Just becuase he mentions kissing doesn't mean it's about a relationship, you get the same germs when you kiss someone as being coughed on, things are masked and made accetpable for society and lines are getting blurred between right and wrong maybe. When i hear "Look at your face like you're killed in a dream " i think of someone maybe melting away, but it's not suppose to happen because that's not the way things are shaped like, the geometry is all off and reality and illusion mix together from the sense of disillusion all while being taken advantage of by the people who milk it for everyting, it being anything really. but of course, i'm full of shit

Modest Mouse is an amazing band, and this is their best song ever. I like this song more than the entire 'Lonesome Crowded West" album, my third favorite album of all time. This song probably could not be explained by the likes of us, and certainly not in such an stupid forum as this. This song is above and beyond us, and we should all just be glad we ever heard it. Count your life lucky.

with the proper dosage dramamine can cause halicinations, and listerine has been being used by cheap collage kids to get drunk because of the high grain alcohol. thus "Travelling swallowing Dramamine Feeling spaced breathing out listerine" mmm...gotta love a good dramamine trip...and modest mouse
