| I liked everyones comments, but one part I thought they generally forget or skipped over the part about "the blow's been softened" So what is it about the air we breathe--which signfies our death---that softens the blow? | This song dosent actually mean anything. One night when the band was staying at a hotel, Isaac got drunk and wondered up into the mountains. He called the hotel and recited this song as a poem word for word to a hotel clerk. He had to pay roughly 30 dollars to get the rights to the song from the clerk the next morning. | |

| When he says "God I sure Hope You Are Dead" he is not talking about GOD, if he did it would probably be "God, I sure hope you are dead" or "I sure hope you are dead, God" He is talking about a person. I say it all the time to people I can't stand. "God I Sure Hope You Are Dead or you Die" | |
